Team TLC

Alyssa is a lifelong traveler thanks to her amazing parents, who both had successful careers in the airline industry. She was born in Los Angeles, but lived and traveled all over the world with her parents before returning to live in Orange County in 1984.

 After college, Alyssa followed in her family’s footsteps and worked in the travel industry for many years. She adventured through Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, Southeast Asia, Tahiti, South Africa, Europe, Mexico, Canada, Central America and Hong Kong. 

 Ten years ago, Alyssa began a new journey to fulfill her lifelong dream of becoming a teacher. She returned to school at the University of California, Irvine and earned her California Teaching Credential and Master’s Degree in Teaching. Alyssa taught first, second, and third grades at a private school in Irvine, California for ten years. Though she loves teaching, Alyssa came to realize that the demands of her growing Travel Laundry Company business would require her total commitment.  In June of 2015, Alyssa made the courageous leap from the security of her teaching career to devote all her energy and talents to TLC.

I'd like to introduce you to the people behind our products...the faces of TLC.

One (or more) of us will be at every TLC event throughout the year. We look forward to saying hello in person and helping you find just the right travel product for you, your loved ones, coworkers, friends and family.

Hi Everyone! I'm sure you have seen me at just about every TLC event. I started TLC in October 2013 and have been so proud to bring you functional and stylish products, unique, fabulous prints and great customer service year after year. Thank you for supporting my small business!

Heide Grant (my mom)

  Kitty

Kitty is one of my dearest friends. She and I met in Costa Rica in 1995 and have been a huge part of each others lives. She lives in New Jersey but flies out to hep me with shows when she can. Kitty, a self-made entrepreneur, started selling extra lobsters her dad caught by the side of the road at age 14. She opened and managed Red's Lobster Pot in New Jersey and is currently working on her teaching credential.

  Calum Grant (my brother)

Calum is one of my staunch supporters. He helps me with Northern California shows and you might see him helping me set up/tear down or working in the pop up shop. He is a successfull actor working in films, theater, commercials and voice over roles. I'm lucky to have such talented brother AND helper!

 Leilani 

Lei is my lovely niece. She is currently going to school to be a teacher and helping me with TLC. We work in the warehouse together and she is often with me at shows, learning the business from the ground up. Thanks, Leilani!
